About the event

The Windmill is excited to feature four amazing and talented artists to our showroom providing our guests a more intimate opportunity to get to know the artists and the stories behind their music.

Drew Gregory

There is an authenticity and truthfulness to the music of Drew Gregory that is undeniable. The songs of this award-winning Alberta country music sensation are infused with a down home realism, a gritty honesty and vibrant sense of rootedness that comes from years spent working the land as a farmer – an aspect of his life that is deeply connected to his talent as a musician, singer and songwriter.

Maddison Krebs

There’s a classic timelessness and a sense of poise to Maddison Krebs that you won’t often find in someone of her era. The 23 year old singer-songwriter, native to Southern Alberta, has spent the last 3 years in Nashville honing her musical abilities and song-craftsmanship with intention to create depth, meaning, integrity, and love behind her music.

Ryan Langlois

In today’s imitative mass of simple melodies and polished production – Ryan Langlois’ rock-ribbed growl is an uncompromising breath of fresh air. Anthemic in delivery, Langlois recalls a Springsteen-esque leader, but one with decidedly more gospel influences than his predecessors. Langlois has been renowned for his performances carrying an electrifying intensity.

Blake Reid

Blake’s incredible, and what seems like effortless, songwriting brings to life heartfelt folktales of real life experiences that we can all instantly relate to. Songs of hardship, pain, joy, remembrance, family, friends, hope, and love. They are often centered around working class, blue collar, salt-of-the-earth people. Characters who work hard, deal with tough times, usually working with the land or their tools, applying their craft to earn a living and to make a life for themselves and their loved ones.
